Gift the gift of reading.
Give the gift of lifelong learning.

You can give the gift of literacy today. When a child is given the gift of reading, she can write her own future. They can search their own solutions, learn knowledge and skills that give meaningful livelihoods, and will teach their children to read. When a child learns their children and children's children will learn to read as well. A gift of just $30 a month will teach 5 children to learn to read — an entire family! – every year.

Join The Sustaining Change, our monthly giving community, to give the gift of reading each and every month.

When you give to Pangea, your donation directly funds work that reshapes the world for a 100% literate future where everyone has the ability to learn on their own. We are in it for the long run but we need our monthly giving community committed to sustaining this change.

Our work is locally-led and grounded in evidence. We deploy your donations in communities where we work to directly deliver the gift of reading to families and classrooms. We further invest in large scale impact through impact with partners.
Sustaining Change is essential to this work. We count on monthly gifts to fill in any funding gaps that may arise or account for potential changes in project completion. The Sustaining Change community enables us to keep the work going consistently with confidence and make the best long-term investments for impact.

Literacy changes everything

Right now, 1 billion people are unable to read a single sentence in any language. Women, girls, and migrants are particularly affected. When children fail to read they are more likely to live in poverty, more likely to be affected by health crisis, and less likely to have literate children themselves.

Learn the ways that improves the lives of children around the world.
